The teaching method employed is based on the philosophy that for the students to speak English well they must be able to recognize and produce the tones of the language accurately. In order to accomplish this, a method of FOCUSED PRACTICE is used. Practical vocabulary and grammar patterns are introduced and drilled before students are ask to engage in short or long conversations.
A large percentage of the class is spent having the teach model sounds, patterns and sentences and the students practising drills.
Within each lesson, dialogues are practised to help students communicate outside the classroom.
